Earnhardt Auto Centers is looking to hire Technicians for multiple positions for new location in the San Tan MotorPlex!
Earnhart Auto Centers is looking to hire Technicians of all levels for our brand-new Earnhardt Service Building that will be located in the San Tan MotorPlex! The facility will be home to 32 bays, including heavy truck racks, in an air-conditioned shop with an electronic dispatching process to maintain fairness in workload and experienced advisors capable of providing good write-ups and complaint lines. There’s also a large parts inventory with a valley-wide parts distribution team providing parts to techs quickly, and parts trucks that are electronically dispatched to expedite parts pickup when needed!
Applicants must be 18 years or older and must have current and valid domestic driver’s license (AZ preferred) with a clean driving record and have the ability to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities:
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
• Perform work specified on the repair order with accuracy and in a timely manner
• Stay up to date on most current technology, requirements and processes regarding service repairs
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed and if so, the time needed to complete the additional repairs
The ideal candidate should have the following experience of qualifications:
• Vocational education
• Working as a Service Mechanic; with proven success on the job
• Minimum 1-3 years’ experience
• ASE certified is a plus
• Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep, Ram, and/or Hyundai Certification
• Heavy line experience
• Working for a new-car franchise automotive dealership (or group)
• Using DMS such as CDK
